CHICAGO – April 3, 2006 – Information Resources, Inc. The appointment underscores the continued commitment from IRI to further enhance its executive management team to continue delivering world-class services and solutions to its clients. The addition also supports the ongoing IRI innovation agenda focused on building and delivering predictive, on-demand applications for Consumer Understanding, Market Performance, Retail Performance and New Product Management.

Jones is responsible for all content data operations and delivery, data integrity, technical product management and project management initiatives across the globe. Leveraging his Six Sigma leadership and global operations management expertise, Jones will continue to drive world-class data and insights access and delivery solutions and the supporting infrastructure that enables IRI clients to make better business decisions in a highly complex marketplace.
Before joining IRI as leader of European Operations in 2004, Jones spent 20 years with General Electric, where he held several leadership roles in the United Kingdom, France and the United States, including vice president of operations for GE Consumer Finance - Europe, following assignments as vice president of Six Sigma and vice president of global x-ray manufacturing for GE Medical Systems. He began his career in manufacturing at Peugeot S.A. in France.
Jones earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration and French from Aston University in the United Kingdom and also studied at the Ecole Superieure de Commerce in Lyon, France.
