SymphonyIRI Human Resources Chief Explores Changing Researcher Requirements at ARF Industry Leader Forum

WHO:

Jane Altobelli – Executive Vice President, Chief People Officer, SymphonyIRI Group, Inc.

WHAT:

The market research universe is changing dramatically, and, with that, the role of the effective market researcher is evolving as well. Tomorrow’s researchers will require an expanded and more diverse skill set than ever before. With these new capabilities, thought-leading researchers will continue to be change agents and market visionaries. The session, “Where is the Talent Going to Come From?” brings together industry visionaries, including moderator Joel Rubinson, president of Rubinson Partners, Inc.; Donna Goldfarb, vice president, Consumer & Marketing Insights, Unilever; Mark Truss, director of Brand Intelligence, JWT; and Jane Altobelli.

WHY:

Altobelli’s presentation will argue the need for market research groups to build consultative capabilities in order to bring more value to clients. She will focus on the talent assessment process, where and how research groups should source this new talent and the change management implications for these groups and their clients. She notes that talent transformation must be a shared goal between the research group and its clients.

To highlight the opportunities and challenges this process can create, Altobelli will discuss SymphonyIRI’s own efforts to complete this transformation.

WHEN:

Oct. 28, 2010, 11:15 a.m. EST

WHERE:

The New York Athletic Club
180 Central Park South
New York, NY
