Former Siebel Systems Executive Andrew A. Salzman Joins Information Resources, Inc.

Seasoned Marketing Executive to Lead Global Marketing; Support Continued Growth and Innovation Agenda
CHICAGO – July 25, 2006 – Information Resources, Inc. (IRI), the leading global provider of enterprise market information solutions for the consumer packaged goods (CPG), retail, and healthcare industries, today announced that Andrew A. Salzman has joined the company as executive vice president and global chief marketing officer.

In this role, Salzman is responsible for global marketing and innovation, supporting the continued business transformation of IRI. Andrew brings to IRI more than 25 years of proven leadership skills in driving business transformation initiatives, generating innovative marketing ideas to solve complex challenges, and building high performance teams and systems that bridge product development, marketing, client service, and sales.

“Andrew is a world-class marketing professional, and we are delighted to have him join our leadership team,” said IRI President and Chief Executive Officer Scott W. Klein. “As we continue to develop, deliver and market the next generation of innovative solutions and services for CPG, retail and healthcare, Andrew’s vast marketing expertise, business strategy acumen, and proven track record for transformational thinking will be of tremendous value to both our organization and to our clients.”

“Companies are moving quickly to embrace information and analytics to proactively manage their business for profitable growth and competitive advantage,” added Salzman. “IRI is leading this transformation, and I look forward to helping IRI deliver on the promise of the analytics enterprise.”

Prior to joining IRI, Salzman led corporate marketing for six years at Siebel Systems, where he helped drive its business model transformation. This transformation moved Siebel from a traditional customer relationship management (CRM) vendor selling the best CRM software to a trusted solutions partner selling CRM as an enabling platform to achieve better customer-driven results.

Before Siebel, Salzman ran worldwide marketing for Compaq Computer, where he provided leadership supporting the integration of Compaq, Tandem, and Digital Equipment Corporation. While at Compaq, he led brand integration strategy and portfolio management initiatives, while launching a globally aligned branding effort supporting a common vision and business strategy.

Prior to Compaq, Salzman ran worldwide marketing for Kodak’s $8 billion consumer imaging division. Salzman actively drove early stage business transformation efforts to create new revenue streams attending the convergence of traditional and digital imaging platforms.

He also held several senior-level management positions at leading advertising agencies, including McCann Erickson Worldwide and D’Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles in the United States, Europe, and Asia.

Salzman has received multiple industry honors including the Best Practices in Marketing-Sales Alignment award from the IT Services Marketing Association (ITSMA) and the IDC CMO Leadership award. Additionally, he has been ranked among the prestigious “Top Ten Marketers” by B2B Marketing and the “Power 50 in Marketing” by Advertising Age. Salzman holds a bachelor of arts in psychology from the University of California at Berkeley, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude.
