SymphonyIRI Named A Leader in Marketing Mix Modeling Report by Independent Research Firm
SymphonyIRI’s Strength in Shopper and Consumer Data Highlighted as Key Strengths in Offerings
CHICAGO, Sept. 21, 2011 – SymphonyIRI, the global leader in innovative solutions and services for driving revenue and profit growth in consumer packaged goods (CPG), retail and healthcare companies, was named by Forrester Research, Inc. as a leading marketing mix modeling provider in its Forrester WaveTM: Marketing Mix Modeling, Q3 2011 Report (September 2011). Selected from a group of 50 organizations ranging from pure technology to consulting shops, SymphonyIRI’s strong relationships with digital and social media data providers as well as other key factors qualified the company to be identified as a leader in the report.
The marketing mix modeling market is undergoing a transformation as marketers increasingly
demand that vendors provide solutions that are updated frequently. The objective of the Forrester Wave report is to identify companies that best embody the mix modeling services Forrester’s clients demand. Categorized into “Leaders” and “Strong Performers,” SymphonyIRI was one of six vendors whose marketing mix offerings were thoroughly assessed by Forrester.
For this report, Forrester evaluated high-growth companies serving large marketing organizations. They selected finalists based on product fit, customer success and Forrester client demand. Ultimately, leaders comprise of companies that provide flexible software and digital prowess.

Forrester used a combination of three data sources to assess the strengths and weaknesses of each solution by analyzing past research, studying user need assessments as well as completing company executive and expert interviews. Finalists were evaluated against 49 criteria grouped into three high-level areas of expertise, including current offering, strategy and market presence.
