(IRI) today announced that Jatinder (Ronny) Bindra has joined the company as senior vice president of retail insights. In this new role, Bindra will work closely with the top IRI retail partners and leading manufacturing clients to develop and deliver the industry’s next generation of retail analytic and information solutions.

Prior to joining IRI, Bindra was senior vice president of Information Management Solutions, a division of Management Science Associates, Inc. (MSA), a pioneer in marketing analysis and systems development, where he was responsible for the company’s largest pieces of business in the beverage, food and tobacco sector. Before joining MSA, Bindra was an executive vice president with NFO World Group and was responsible for interactive business, product and technology development, including alliances and acquisitions. Prior to NFO, he spent 13 years in the Analytics Insights Group at IRI, most recently as senior vice president, Atlantic Region, partnering with the company’s leading clients to deliver marketing and sales insights using modelling, testing and household panel data.
Bindra graduated from St. Stephen's College, Delhi University, with a B.A. Honors in history and economics and received his law degree from Delhi's Campus Law Center. He also attended Manchester Business School of the University of Manchester, U.K. and earned an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He has also been a member of the Board of Directors of I-GYAN, a public charity dedicated to bringing Internet technology to rural communities in India.
