IRI Rolls Out Best Practice Webinars to Address Critical Business Issues for CPG and Retail

CHICAGO – Aug. 29, 2005 – Information Resources, Inc. On Sept. 14, the  webinars will kick-off  with “Retail Execution: Success at the Store,” which offers solutions to drive increased revenue, profit and market share at underperforming outlets through better execution at retail—by store, by category, and by item. IRI Senior Vice President of Client Solutions Larry Danna will lead the session and discuss how to get real business results that move the needle on key performance indicators. Danna has more than 16 years of strategy design and solution delivery experience for global consumer goods, retailer and distribution companies through working at such leading firms as Booz-Allen Hamilton, IBM, Cap Gemini and Ernst & Young.

“Broadening your Retail Perspective”
A second webinar, “Broadening your Retail Perspective,” will be held on Sept. 21. Greg Herbold, senior vice president for U.S. product management at IRI, will share ways to get insights about product and category performance at the world’s largest retailer, Wal-Mart. Herbold, who is a frequent speaker at CPG and retail industry events, has extensive experience in developing specialized marketplace data coverage solutions and has worked with such companies as Unilever, Pfizer, Coca-Cola and Procter & Gamble.
