Leading Analytics Authority Dr. Robert C. Blattberg Joins IRI as Chief Analytics Officer
Blattberg’s Manufacturer and Retailer Expertise to Drive Further Market Analytics
CHICAGO – March 29, 2005 – Information Resources, Inc. (IRI), today announced that leading analytics academian and authority Dr. Robert C. Blattberg has joined IRI as its chief analytics officer in an exclusive advisory role, supporting the company’s aggressive innovation efforts to identify and deliver the industry’s next generation of breakthrough business analytics solutions.
Leveraging the deep analytics expertise gained while working with the world’s top manufacturers, as well as leading retailers including Kroger, Rite Aid and Best Buy, Dr. Blattberg will be a key member of the team directing next generation analytics solution development at IRI. Specifically, Dr. Blattberg will be working with IRI’s Analytic Insights Group and enterprise solutions team, and will be available for select, strategic client engagements.
Dr. Blattberg is a Polk Brothers Distinguished Professor in Retailing and Executive Director of the Center for Retail Management at the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University. He is co-author of several best-selling business books including Sales Promotion and Customer Equity and co-editor of Marketing Information Revolution. Dr. Blattberg is a member of IRI’s Analytics Advisory Board and will continue his role with Northwestern in addition to his new responsibilities at IRI.
