IRI Strengthens Management Team with Two Executive Appointments; Former i2 Technologies, Fair Isaac

Janet Eden-Harris named Global Chief Marketing Officer; Bill Nowacki takes over as President of IRI Enterprise Solutions
Chicago – January 4, 2005 – Information Resources, Inc. (IRI), the leading global provider of enterprise market information solutions for the CPG, Retail, and Healthcare industries named Janet Eden-Harris Executive Vice President and Global Chief Marketing Officer and Bill Nowacki President of Enterprise Solutions.

Janet Eden-Harris Leads IRI Global Marketing

Responsible for IRI’s Global marketing operations, Eden-Harris brings over 20 years of global marketing experience to IRI. Most recently she spent the last decade directing marketing initiatives for companies in the supply chain management market and related fields. She joins IRI from i2 Technologies, a leading provider of supply chain management solutions for multiple industries including CPG and Retail, where she was Executive Vice President of Strategy and Chief Marketing Officer. Prior to i2, Eden-Harris was Chief Marketing Officer for Aspect Development which was acquired by i2 to become one of the largest mergers in software history. IRI Chairman, Romesh Wadhwani, was founder and CEO of Aspect Development.

Prior to Aspect, Eden-Harris headed marketing for CADIS, a start-up company, providing parts management solutions and early business applications, which was acquired by Aspect Development. Before CADIS, Eden-Harris was co-founder of Eden-Harris, Associates, a marketing consulting agency, and held a variety of senior management positions in the high tech and agency sector working for clients such as Carte Blanche Credit Card, Barclays Bank, and PSA Airlines.

Eden-Harris holds a BA degree in Journalism and Marketing from the University of Oregon.

Bill Nowacki Leads IRI Enterprise Solutions Group

Leading IRI’s emerging Enterprise Solutions Group, Bill Nowacki is focused on the continued development and expansion of IRI’s enterprise solutions and professional services offerings for the Company’s Retail and CPG customers. Nowacki brings over 20 years of experience in developing business lines and markets and a broad range of consulting experience spanning operations, strategy, and business support functions for organizations serving the Financial Services, CPG, and Retail industries.

Prior to IRI, Nowacki led Fair Isaac Corporation’s Professional Services group and Fair Isaac’s software business unit, Business Science, consulting with clients to maximize value from Fair Isaac's equation-powered technologies. Before his tenure at Fair Isaac, Nowacki was Executive Vice President, Worldwide Sales and Services at Armature Ltd., a supply chain software and services provider to the Retail and CPG sectors. In the late 1990’s, as CEO, Nowacki co-led start-up company Hyperparallel, Inc., an enterprise data mining technology company that pioneered the use of advanced mathematical algorithms in consumer marketing for the Retail, CPG, Finance and Telephony sectors. Nowacki merged the company with Yahoo! in 1998. Nowacki was also a managing partner at NCR Corp., a Unix manufacturer and Teradata developer as well as founded the Delaware Group, a software development and services company focused on retail category management and merchandising.

Nowacki holds a degree in Quantitative Analysis from Penn State and an MBA from Benedictine University.
