IRI Establishes Analytics Advisory Board - Furthers Development of Next Generation Analytics Applications

Advisors Comprised of Industry's Foremost Analytics Academians and Leading Analytics Authorities from World’s Leading Packaged Goods Makers and Retail

CHICAGO - January 3, 2005 -  Extending its aggressive innovation efforts to identify and deliver the industry’s next generation of breakthrough business analytics solutions, Information Resources, Inc. (IRI), has established a new Analytics Advisory Board.

The collaborative team is comprised of leading analytics luminaries from the business community, analytics experts from IRI, and the following analytics authorities from the academic community:

  • Dr. Robert C. Blattberg - Polk Brothers Distinguished Professor in Retailing and Executive Director of the Center for Retail Management, J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University
  • Dr. Pradeep K. Chintagunta -  Robert Law Professor of Marketing, The University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, University of Chicago
  • Dr. Sunil Gupta -  Meyer Feldberg Professor of Business, Columbia Business School, Columbia University

The Board’s focus will be centered on furthering analytics innovation, specifically identifying the existing and emerging analytics applications required to understand and forecast the economics driving today’s CPG and retail businesses including shifts in competitive environments, consumer loyalty preferences and brand portfolio performance drivers.
